Compliance & Guidance under Minimum Wages Act. 1948

The Minimum Wages Act 1948 is an Act of Parliament concerning Indian labour law that sets the minimum wages that must be paid to skilled and unskilled labours.


Compliance & Guidance under Payment of Wages Act, 1936

The Payment of Wages Act of 1936 (Act) is primarily intended to help industrial workers who do not earn a lot of money. It covers all employees who work in a factory, through a subcontractor, or directly with the railway administration, and also those who operate in the industrial sector, as defined in the Act. The limit was raised to INR 24,000 per month by the Indian government in 2017. Therefore, employees with wages up to the ceiling limit are covered by the Act.


Compliance & Guidance under Equal Remuneration Act, 1976

An Act to provide for the payment of equal remuneration to men and women workers and for the prevention of discrimination, on the ground of sex, against women in the matter of employment and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.


Compliance & Guidance under Bonus Act, 1965

The Payment of Bonus Act 1965 is applicable to all factories and companies who have 20 or more employees employed anytime with them during an accounting year. Also, as per the act, the bonus should be awarded on the basis of profit earned by the company or the productivity of an individual.


Compliance & Guidance under payment of Gratuity Act, 1972

The Act provides for payment of gratuity at the rate of 15 days wage s for each completed year of service subject to a maximum of Rs. ten lakh. In the case of seasonal establishment, gratuity is payable at the rate of seven days wages for each season.

Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970. Long Title: An Act to regulate the employment of contract labour in certain establishments and to provide for its abolition in certain circumstances and for matters connected therewith.

An Act to regulate the employment of women in certain establishment for certain period before and after child-birth and to provide for maternity benefit and certain other benefits.
